Concrete Curb & Gutter Replacement along Colfax Avenue

This past week the contractor removed the concrete curb & gutter along Colfax Avenue scheduled to be replaced. The contractor also set the forms and installed aggregate base below the proposed concrete curb & gutter. Due to the weather conditions, the concrete could not be installed. The concrete is scheduled to be poured on Saturday, September 20th, starting at 8:00 AM.

Next week, the contractor will begin construction of the traffic calming islands at the Nora Avenue and Nottingham Avenue intersections.
During the Colfax Avenue Improvements, there will be no parking allowed on the roadway. The posted 8 AM to 10 PM No Parking Restrictions will remain in effect. It is  requested all cars parked along Colfax Avenue be moved prior to 7:00 AM each weekday and 9:00 AM on Saturdays.

The final asphalt pavement surface layer will not be installed along Nora Avenue and Neva Avenue until the Colfax Avenue improvements are completed.
We appreciate all of your patience while the Colfax Avenue improvements are being constructed.
